Safes for pharmacies

Theft of medicines is a frequent phenomenon throughout the world, mainly motivated by the fact that many medicines have a high commercial value and limited public access. If we look specifically at the Italian case, starting from 2012, especially following the introduction of the new European regulations relating to the consumption and distribution of medicines, in Italy there has been a significant increase in thefts and robberies in the pharmaceutical field which has caused not only extensive damage to the production chain but also to public health.

For this reason, pharmacies, as well as other healthcare facilities such as local health authorities and hospitals, need safe places to protect medicines, drugs and narcotics from potential threats.

For this purpose, Bordogna has designed a new series of extremely safe safes capable not only of safeguarding pharmacies from hypothetical thefts but also at the same time protecting public health.

This is the GP PHARMA line, a series of safes for pharmacies certified EN 1143-1 in Level I, which represent the ideal solution for those looking for a device capable of keeping safe and protecting expensive and vital medicines in their warehouse.

Organized in convenient drawers, these safes allow you to protect both medicines and medical prescriptions (as per current privacy legislation). Also available in various sizes and models, they are suitable for both large and small pharmacies, hospitals, veterinary clinics and most medical facilities.

The models

Each single model can be fitted out internally with special “H+H AluCool” extractable aluminum drawers, complete with dividers for better distribution of the contents inside. The basic models are as follows:

GP Pharma 10: small and compact safe, equipped as standard with a lock with key, it has three drawers inside to which it is possible to add an additional compartment compared to the basic model. Thanks to its small size it is the ideal model for small pharmacies and clinics.
GP Pharma 20, slightly larger than the previous model, is also equipped with a lock with key. It has four drawers inside to which it is possible to add two more, thus obtaining six total compartments. Like the smaller model, it is the ideal safe for small pharmacies and clinics.
GP Pharma 40 is the medium model of the series. Equipped like the others with a lock and key, it has a maximum volume of 180 litres. It allows the possibility of adding up to four drawers to the basic model for a total of eight compartments. Practical, thanks to the countless integrated drawers and small dimensions, it is the ideal model for those who need to keep a large number of products in order without excessively occupying the external space.
GP Pharma 50 equipped as standard with a lock with key has a maximum volume of 219 litres. The basic model has 4 drawers and two shelves to which it is possible to add up to six drawers for a total of ten compartments. Definitely larger than previous models, it is the ideal safe for those who also need to keep documents and office materials in order.
GP Pharma 55: 140 cm high for a maximum projection of 50 cm, it has an internal space that can be organized with up to twelve drawers and two shelves. Like the smaller model, GP Pharma 50, it is ideal for those who need to keep in order not only medicines but also documents and office materials.

All safes have a double wall which ensures optimal protection against mechanical and thermal break-in methods. Furthermore, all models can be integrated with a multi-user electronic lock with delayed opening function to guarantee further safety in the event of an infringement.
